Job summary

ADP in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Plant Supervisor to manage day-to-day production, inventory and personnel. The role focuses on scheduling, safety, and performance of hourly staff to ensure on-time customer deliveries.

The successful candidate will monitor gauges, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with HR for training and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Requires clear communication and fluent English.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior supervision experience preferred.
• Able to read gauges and production schedules.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Able to stand/walk for full shift and operate a forklift after training.
• Must pass forklift driving test.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production to meet delivery dates.
• Maintain inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, supplies and components.
• Complete physical inventories for RM, Finished Goods and components.
• Ensure on-time delivery for customer orders.
• Import scrap and production data into the Application System.
• Provide training documents to HR and conduct employee training.
• Maintain time and attendance records for hourly employees.
• Manage employee performance and disciplinary actions for hourly staff.
• Communicate daily production status for all shifts.
• Oversee start-up and shut-down efficiency and plant safety.
• Ensure adherence to Triangle policies and procedures.

Plant Supervisor

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule production for the facility
• Manage inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, supplies and components
• Manage completion of physical inventories for RM, Finished Goods and components
• Manage all plant resources to ensure on time delivery for customer orders
• Import scrap and production data from Rockware into Application System
• Manage and implement proper training for all personnel and provide training documents to HR
• Responsible to maintain time and attendance records for all hourly employees
• Responsible for all employee management for hourly employees in the facility (including performance reviews and disciplinary action if needed)
• Complete communication board daily for off shifts.
• Manage efficient start up and shut down of the plant.
• Ensure plant is always maintained and operating safely.
• Have a clear understanding of all Triangle policies and procedures and ensure they are being followed.

Any other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Prior Supervision experience preferred
• Must be able to read gages.
• Must be able to use MS Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Must be able to comprehend and follow a production schedule.
• Must be able to speak English fluently.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the facility for the entire shift.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and pass a driving and written test.
