• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to resolve issues impacting production and customer delivery.

Job description

The Production & Distribution Supervisor is responsible for developing employees, setting work schedules, managing employee relations, ensuring employee performance meets the daily Production, Shipping, Receiving, Material Transfer, and Inventory Control activities/requirements. This position is accountable for coordinating and supporting daily delivery performance, reducing past-due orders, and ensuring customer requirements are met through effective production planning, scheduling, material flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipment of quality products. The Supervisor reviews customer demand, forecast, backlog, past-due orders daily, establishes production and shipping priorities, leads production meetings, and coordinates recovery actions for issues impacting delivery. This position works cross-functionally to address Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, material, capacity, and inventory issues and supports assigned projects and continuous improvement activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

• Experience with production planning, scheduling, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
• Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience managing daily operational priorities and working cross-functionally to resolve delivery, material, capacity, or inventory issues.

Skills Required
