Job Description
Plant Superintendent- Decatur, IL
Under the direction of the West Plant Manager, the Plant Superintendent is the leader responsible for the safety, regulatory compliance, operation, colleague development and leadership, and performance of the Decatur West Plant. West Plant is a soybean and corn oil crushing and refining facility including lecithin de-oiling and phospholipid processing. West Plant is a union facility. This position leads a team of approximately 360 full time colleagues, in both hourly and salaried roles.
The Plant Superintendent is responsible to lead directly and through others by providing direction, leadership, motivation, communication, training, coaching and discipline as needed and within site guidelines for all colleagues in their area. It is critical for the site's success that the Plant Superintendent can successfully collaborate with peers on site and beyond to deliver safe results.
Job Duties
As a member of the Site Leadership team, the Plant Superintendent plays an active role in coaching and mentoring others in programs including safety, feed and food safety, quality, environmental standards, and Performance Excellence (CI) to ensure their department is supporting the goals of the Complex and other individual departments.
Support with relocation is available for this position. ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$92,800.00 - $173,500.00
Salaried Incentive Plan
The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan.
