Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, concrete products, construction materials, or similar industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance practices, quality systems, and production planning.
  • Experience managing production performance, labor resources, and operating costs.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
  • Working knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and employment regulations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and shipping activities.
  • Drive a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Monitor production and quality performance to meet customer expectations and operational goals.
  • Coordinate people, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage labor and operating costs while supporting production objectives.
  • Oversee plant equipment, facilities, and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant facility.
  • Coach, develop, and support supervisors and production employees.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges and achieve plant goals.
