Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies in the United States seeks an experienced Operations Leader to oversee plant performance, safety culture, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in Indiana.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and cross-functional teams to drive profitability and customer service excellence, while developing talent and implementing best practices.

Qualifications

• 10 years of people management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent.
• Progressive experience managing operations and teams.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting.
• Familiarity with business and financial principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a culture of Safety within the workplace.
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
• Hold the plant accountable for standard operating practices and observes workers for compliance with standards.
• Identify potential problems and friction and find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
• Drive operational excellence and process optimization.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability; manage budgets and forecasts.
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
• Provide leadership, management, and motivation to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention.
• Establish and maintain a well-motivated team including training, supporting and developing each team member.
• Coordinate different teams to foster an exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
• Drive the performance process and professional development of all Management level personnel within the team.
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
