Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Plant Scheduler to link sales, operations and supply chain. You will schedule orders for a corrugated paper machine, coordinate rolls, and optimize production planning in a multi‑line environment.

The ideal candidate has corrugated manufacturing experience, strong data skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will work with production, customer service and other teams, while supporting our PBM philosophy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment.
• Experience using data to drive strategic decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to operate and manage a computer-based production scheduling system.

Responsibilities

• Schedule orders for the corrugated paper machine, finishing equipment, and manage roll stock inventory.
• Collaborate with customer service to plan to meet customer needs and maximize productivity.
• Manage roll stock including ordering, receiving, warehousing, and consuming paper; analyze usage and trends.
• Interface with production, customer service, and other plant departments.
• Support and advance the PBM® (Principled Based Management) philosophy.
• Manage roll room and off-site warehouse roll inventory.
• Ability to work on call and weekends as needed.
