Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Plant Scheduler for the Kansas City, MO location to link sales, operations and supply chain. You will coordinate orders, manage roll stock, and optimize production planning across multiple lines in a high-SKU environment.

Qualifications include corrugated manufacturing experience, data-driven decision making, and proficiency with MS Office. Occasional on-call/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience utilizing data to drive strategic decision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to operate and manage a computer-based production scheduling system.

Responsibilities

• Schedule orders for a corrugated paper machine, finishing equipment, and manage roll stock inventory.
• Work with customer service to meet customer needs and maximize production productivity.
• Manage roll stock: ordering, receiving, warehousing, and consuming paper; analyze usage and trends.
• Interface directly with production, customer service, and other plant departments.
• Exemplify and advance the PBM® (Principled Based Management) philosophy.
• Manage roll room and off-site warehouse roll inventory.
• Ability to work on call and weekend basis as needed.
