Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a Facilities Cleaner to support high-volume production areas and surrounding spaces. You will perform daily cleaning of break rooms, restrooms, offices, hallways and exterior spaces, while ensuring safety and GMP practices.

Responsibilities include waste management, inventory, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate safe working habits and GMP compliance.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Emptying and managing production waste containers and related materials.
• Clean outdoor areas and all interior spaces including break rooms, restrooms, offices and hallways.
• Maintain floors in non-production areas; perform stripping, waxing, buffing, mopping and cleaning tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and PPE as required by safety protocols.
• Stock and inventory supplies, assist in weekly orders, organize closets.
• Assist with recycling sorting and other duties as assigned.
