Job summary

Kenlake Foods seeks a Safety & Regulatory Compliance Lead to oversee safety processes and compliance with OSHA, FDA, EPA and Kroger standards. You will drive corrective actions, train teams, and manage emergency response planning.

The role requires knowledge of safety regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate across plant teams to meet safety and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Behavioral Based Safety experience required.
• Regulatory/compliance experience with knowledge of applicable regs.
• CRP/First Aid certification.
• OSHA 10 Hour or SafetyTech training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents.
• Independent work capability with multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide updates to Leadership on safety concerns, regulatory issues and corrective actions.
• Develop, review and maintain Emergency Response Plan to meet standards.
• Maintain knowledge of FDA/OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Administer Respiratory Protection Plan (training, maintenance, fit testing).
• Develop, analyze, and train policies to ensure compliance with Kroger standards.
• Ensure EPA reporting compliance forms are filed.
• Investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety teams and conduct internal audits to improve safety.
• Ensure compliance with Kroger's Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• Work safely around ingredients and allergens.
