Qualifications

BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
5-7 years of chemical plant experience.
Experience with mechanical equipment design, troubleshooting, function and reliability.

Responsibilities

Track operating performance and product quality of production units.
Troubleshoot processes and initiate corrective actions to improve efficiency.
Identify and implement improvements to increase capacity and reduce cost.
Provide technical coverage for plant trials and startups.
Write operating procedures and train chemical operators.
Propose changes in programming logic for safety and efficiency.
Develop PFDs, P&IDs and mass/energy balances for modified processes.
Lead capital projects from design to commissioning and startup.
