Job summary

Weiler-Abrasives-Group in Mountainhome, PA is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep our manufacturing plant running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety and quality standards. You will develop preventive and predictive programs, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues, and collaborate with production to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of maintenance engineering in manufacturing; single-site preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
• Experience with CMMS and data-driven maintenance planning; Lean/Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production to identify and implement reliability improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and implement long-term solutions.
• Manage maintenance schedules, spare parts, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and company policy compliance; support capital projects.
• Maintain CMMS records and track performance metrics.
