Job summary

DuPont in Cincinnati is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive equipment reliability across our plants, partnering with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to solve complex reliability challenges and support capital projects that improve safety and productivity.

You will lead RCFA and FMEA approaches, analyze asset data, and collaborate across functions to reduce variability and raise overall plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
• 3+ years in manufacturing, reliability, maintenance, or process engineering.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Familiarity with RCFA, FMEA, predictive maintenance, vibration analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support reliability improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Perform root cause failure analyses and develop sustainable solutions.
• Analyze equipment and maintenance data to identify trends.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to reduce process variability.
• Support capital projects by providing reliability expertise during design, installation, and startup.
• Participate in Process Safety Management activities focusing on Mechanical Integrity and QA.
• Contribute to turnaround and shutdown planning for safe operations.
