Job summary

Lehigh Hanson Inc. is seeking a maintenance-oriented worker to support operations in our quarry and plant environments. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork as you perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and light equipment operation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of aggregate-industry experience; prior mobile-equipment operation is a plus. Union benefits and a safety-focused workplace are highlighted in the offer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus.
• Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Prior experience operating mobile equipment (man reach, telehandler, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong communications with all other plant employees to ensure efficient and safe workflow.
• Tasks may include grounds upkeep, shoveling, organization of parts
• Assist in maintenance work and area cleanup, this is honestly the bulk of the work.
• Perform a variety of service, inspection, or labor operations throughout the quarry or plants.
• Occasional operation of small mobile equipment.
• Will perform other duties as may be requested.
