Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Quality Control Lab Technician to join our Baton Rouge plant team. You will test materials and finished products to ensure they conform to applicable laws and company standards, and you will prepare QC reports and maintain a clean, safe lab environment.

Responsibilities include setting up lab equipment, testing samples, and communicating deficiencies with the plant manager.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Construction or Quality Control experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, adjusts, and operates lab equipment and instruments.
• Tests samples of products for conformity and standards.
• Visually inspects for quality control.
• Prepares and submits QC reports.
• Performs general housekeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe lab and warehouse.
• Experience in devising and reviewing plans, documents, and specifications.
• Assesses daily job tasks for potential quality and safety concerns.
• Communicates deficiencies with the plant manager and crew and works towards a solution.
• Participate in TAR meetings.
