Festo Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to lead and coordinate engineering initiatives from concept through launch. You will partner with the Head of the Plant Project Office and cross-functional teams to assure design integrity, quality and timely delivery while controlling costs.

The role requires a mechanical/mechatronics/electrical engineering background with 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and basic project management training.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelors of Engineering in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant job experience required.
• Basic training in classic, agile or hybrid project management.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient English communication and collaboration across disciplines.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP experience is a bonus.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and manage engineering and technical development projects.
• Plan projects, establish requirements and success criteria, and coordinate reviews.
• Prepare cost estimates and feasibility studies.
• Lead localization and production project feasibility assessments.
• Coordinate production release activities for new products.
• Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures to meet targets.
• Develop production concepts within established standards.
• Initiate development and commissioning of production equipment with cross functions.
• Coordinate quality and test-planning activities with Quality stakeholders.
• Participate in HQ NPI alignment meetings for new projects.
• Support best practices and process improvements aligned with OPEX.
• Capture project knowledge, lessons learned and documentation.
• Collaborate with Value Stream Engineers and HQ colleagues for local production solutions.
• Build strong working relationships across functions and levels.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and drive accountability.
• Influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts to achieve objectives.
