Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Project Engineer to design and construct new facilities and modify existing equipment to improve safety and efficiency. You will coordinate in-house design work with external consultants and manage procurement and construction contracts.

Responsibilities include leading safety activities, developing cost estimates, preparing bid packages, and tracking schedules and budgets while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, agricultural, electrical or chemical engineering.
• 3–5 years of plant operations, maintenance and safety experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCad, Word, Excel and Project software.
• Familiarity with NFPA 36/61, OSHA, EPA regulations is preferred.
• Demonstrates problem solving, organization and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety activities and ensure compliance during projects.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and plant teams.
• Prepare equipment specs and bid packages for construction.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery and startup readiness.
