Bunge is seeking a Project Engineer in the United States (Kentucky region) to design, construct, and modify equipment for safety and efficiency gains. You will coordinate with consultants and contractors, develop equipment specs, and manage bid packages, schedules, and costs to meet project goals.
Responsibilities include leading facility safety activities, ensuring design/troubleshooting comply with safety standards, and delivering projects from feasibility through startup.
The project engineer will be involved in the design and construction of new projects and modification of existing equipment and efficiency improvements as required to meet safety, commercial expectations, maximize operating efficiencies and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
The work will include performing in-house design and coordination with outside consultants and contractors as necessary for successful project completion. Equipment selection, procurement and construction contract administration are typical duties of the project engineer.
