Metromont Corporation in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Second Shift Production Supervisor to oversee concrete production operations and lead crews on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will coordinate installation, pouring, finishing, and dismantling activities while ensuring timely material availability and adherence to schedules.

The role involves advancing production methods, maintaining quality, and collaborating with other departments to meet customer demands and budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise Second Shift production activities at a precast/prestressed concrete production facility.
• Coordinate the activities of installation and pour, wet finishing, dry finishing and dismantling operations.
• Responsible for the development and performance of crews in terms of safety, quality, schedule and cost.
• Make sure that all materials needed to complete the installation and dumping processes are available and delivered in a timely manner.
• Monitor and track the progress of daily production processes to ensure production schedules and budgets are met.
• Recommends and improves production methods.
• Make sure and monitor the quality of the product.
• Coordinate with other departments to establish production schedules that meet customer demands and optimize production capacities.
• Coordinate with other departments in the purchase, production, and distribution of materials.
• Attend scheduled meetings on Safety, Quality, Production and Rotation.
• Implement and follow Metromont's safety programs, including holding weekly safety meetings.
• Participate in the plant's leadership team.
• Actively involved in the selection of temporary and new production personnel.
• Participate in the training, development, and supervision of production personnel.
• Ensure that adequate staffing levels are met and maintained in correspondence with fluctuating production needs and schedules.
• Conduct routine performance evaluations and address any performance-related issues and/or other employment-related issues.
• Must comply with all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
