Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a Plant Production Planner to support its 1st Shift Manufacturing operations in New Holland, PA. This role ensures timely parts availability, coordinates with internal work centers, suppliers and logistics to optimize inventory and costs.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field, 3–5 years of plant logistics experience, and strong Excel skills. APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in plant logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, with intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Apply information system tools and shop floor status to schedule, communicate, and coordinate part requirements from internal work centers, sister plants, internal logistics, suppliers and subcontract suppliers.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans when vital and keep management advised of actions being taken along with risks and constraints.
  • Maintain and revise MRP planning based on changes from dependent and independent demands, inventory adjustments and BOM corrections.
  • Ensure the right parts are at the right place at the right time while minimizing total costs.
  • Analyze and correct discrepancies, production reporting or inventory problems to maintain parts flow and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Understand and have working knowledge of operational processes, planning procedures and plant layout.
  • Direct interface and assessment of shop floor activities and status.

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a Plant Production Planner which will support our 1st Shift Manufacturing operations in New Holland, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply information system tools and shop floor status to schedule, communicate, and coordinate part requirements from internal work centers, sister plants, internal logistics, suppliers and subcontract suppliers.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans when vital and keep management advised of actions being taken along with risks and constraints.
  • Maintain and revise MRP planning based on changes coming from both dependent and independent demands, as well as from inventory adjustments and Bills of Material corrections.
  • Ensure the right parts, are at the right place, at the right time, while minimizing total costs (for instance minimized transportation costs and optimized inventory levels).
  • Analyze and correct discrepancies, production reporting or inventory problems to maintain parts flow and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Understand and have working knowledge of operational processes, planning procedures and plant layout.
  • Direct interface and assessment of shop floor activities and status
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in plant logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency- Intermediate Excel user or above
Preferred Qualifications
  • APICS certification is desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers to meet required targets
  • Proven problem-solving skills
Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $55,725.00 - $74,300.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
