Job summary

Roquette is seeking an LV Production Engineer (m/f/d) for our Bomlitz, Germany site. The role acts as the main technical contact for plant operations, driving process optimization and ensuring safe, compliant production of METHOCEL and related products.

You will collaborate with maintenance and suppliers, perform root-cause analyses, and implement sustainable improvements while contributing to budget planning and staff training. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering or comparable.
• Hands-on experience in plant operations and process optimization.
• Strong EH&S focus and process safety expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement environmental, health and safety requirements in plant operations.
• Ensure GMP/food safety quality standards for product manufacture.
• Understand process technology and optimize flows and steps.
• Maximize plant performance, quality and EH&S targets.
• Perform root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain operating instructions and process descriptions.
• Assist in budget planning and training, and communicate technical issues.
