Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. in Florida Groveland is seeking a Plant Process Engineer to maintain and improve production across our HVAC equipment lines.

You will lead hands-on floor initiatives, work with electrical and mechanical teams, and develop tooling and processes using 3D CAD tools. Responsibilities include on-site equipment maintenance, collaborating with safety and quality teams, implementing ECN/PCI changes, and supporting design and fabrication teams to ensure quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree in electrical, electronics or mechanical engineering.
• Internship/co-op experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills required.
• Experience with CAD tools for design and tooling.

Responsibilities

• 95% of the workday on the manufacturing floor working on projects, operating and repair of equipment.
• Collaborate with operators to ensure parts are programmed, trained and issue resolution.
• Work with Safety, Quality, and Industrial engineering teams on parts, assembly, and process improvements.
• Implement Engineer Change Notices (ECN) and Process Change Instructions (PCI).
• Support production by building all products to required quality standards.
• Assist production staff with product-related questions.
