Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET preferred) with 2+ years of related experience; master’s may qualify for higher level.
• Alternative: bachelor’s in engineering + master’s/PhD in ABET-accredited program.
• VP or above can waive degree requirement for non-ABET programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for plant operations and maintenance; diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis to improve reliability.
• Monitor plant data (turbine, auxiliary systems) to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Support reliability and condition monitoring programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, controls diagnostics).
• Maintain configuration control and documentation; ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate capital projects with vendors/contractors and internal teams.
• Support regulatory/code compliance (NERC, pressure systems) and audit readiness.
• Provide data-driven insights to improve plant performance and safety.
