Job Description - Plant Optimization Specialist - Texas (2500000N)

Vulcan Materials Company is in the early stages of a digital transformation designed to make us a more data-driven company. As part of this effort we are implementing an enterprise wide data historian and other new technologies. This position will assist with development of data analysis tools (dashboards, trending, standard calculations, and reporting standards) to support and optimize plant operations. This a division level analyst position, developing and conducting historian user training, training operators in plant optimization, developing and training operators on the use of trends and dashboards, and developing new applications including IoT, machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. We are seeking a self-motivated person that is able to manage multiple concurrent projects, has a passion for developing new technologies, is very analytical and understands how to optimize, and has the interpersonal skills to work with all levels of operations and corporate management.

Experience: Experience in aggregate testing and aggregate production plan operations.
