Job summary

DuPont is seeking a Run Plant Engineer to support the Yerkes manufacturing facility in Buffalo, NY. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations while helping deliver high-quality products to customers around the world.

This hands-on role involves optimizing plant performance, leading troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned manufacturing units and drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and cost performance.
• Demonstrate courageous leadership by coaching others, asking challenging questions, and proactively intervening to improve safety and operational effectiveness.
