Job summary

DUF6-MCS LLC is seeking an operator to monitor and operate plant process and auxiliary equipment for the DUF6 project. The role requires handling electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic instruments under supervision and includes data collection and emergency response duties in a chemical processing setting.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 4+ years in chemical processing, and may hold an Associate's Degree. HSPD-12 credential eligibility is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of chemical processing experience or equivalent.
• Prefers Associate's Degree.
• Prefers nuclear or chemical facility processing experience.
• Prefers prior operator experience in a manufacturing plant setting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an HSPD-12 credential.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and operates plant process and auxiliary equipment.
• Operates computer process control system vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Performs manual and mechanical work.
• Collects and interprets data.
• Takes active roles in coordination of work flow.
• Responds to emergencies and hazardous events at the plant as frontline responder.
• Performs chemical cleaning and decontamination of equipment as required.
• Operates conversion process equipment and related auxiliary equipment; collects data.
