Job summary

MCSA in Kentucky seeks a supervising operator/technician supervisor for the DUF6 conversion facility. Under general supervision, you will oversee day-to-day plant activities, coordinate operations, and ensure compliance with policies.

You will report emergencies, develop procedures, support startup/testing, and supervise personnel. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years related experience, 3+ years nuclear experience, and the ability to obtain an HSPD-12 credential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• 3+ years of nuclear experience.
• Ability to obtain Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assigns, and directs supervision of day-to-day plant activities.
• Reports off-normal or emergency conditions to management.
• Coordinates and oversees operations and maintenance activities.
• Develops operating procedures and training materials for readiness and startup.
• Maintains records of plant proceedings to show condition and performance.
• Directs plant actions during emergencies and interfaces with responders.
• Reviews qualification status of operations personnel and schedules assignments.
