The Plant/Heavy Equipment Operator (Night Shift) is responsible for a variety of daily tasks that support the efficient operation of the aggregate plant.

  • Running and monitoring (including boiler tests) the boiler system in cold months,
  • Forming and stripping of returned concrete blocks,
  • Yard housekeeping / snow removal
  • Receiving and inspection of aggregates,
  • Daily fuel dip/measurement,
  • Minor plant maintenance, grease and lube equipment as required
  • Maintaining the washout pit and drying bay
  • Operating the loader
  • Cleaning and shoveling under belts

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Ontario's Driver Licence
  • Must be comfortable with working nights
  • OSSGD or equivalent
  • Passing Grade on Mechanical Aptitude Test, Math Skills Test and Literacy Test;
