Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Plant Operator to join our team in the United States. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated to safely start and regulate plant processing equipment from a centralized location under supervision.

Typical duties include monitoring equipment, adjusting programming to maximize production, preparing daily production reports, and assisting with repairs and training. Weekend and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong safety mindset and dependability required.
• Motivation to operate and monitor plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Start, monitor, and regulate plant processing equipment per safety standards.
• Adjust equipment programming to maximize production.
• Generate work requests using maintenance planning program.
• Maintain daily production reports and share information.
• Operate load-out area and mobile equipment as needed.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Assist with plant operation and repairs to equipment.
• Maintain cleaning and housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Assist in training co-workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
