Job summary

ANDRITZ Separation in Berkeley Township, NJ is seeking a plant operator to manage the dryer system via SCADA during the 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift. You will change out parts, perform preventative maintenance, monitor equipment, handle chemical storage and polymer applications, and conduct sludge sampling and plant rounds.

This role requires a hands-on approach and attention to safety; all applicants are welcome without regard to race or disability.

• Change out parts (motors, drives, belts, pumps, valves, instrumentation, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, etc.)
• Preventative Maintenance on all equipment
• Working with computers (SCADA)
• Chemical storage and applications (polymer)

• Plant rounds and observations

Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

The plant operator controls the dryer system in our FMD plant via a Scada system. They will also do various duties such as:

Change out parts ( motors, drives, belts , pumps , valves , instrumentation , screw conveyors , bucket elevators , etc..

Preventative Maintenance on all equipment

Working with computers (Scada )

Chemical storage and applications (polymer )

Sludge sampling

Plant rounds and observations
