Job description

The Position: The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, reliable person with an interest in Local Government. Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage. It is essential that the successful applicant have a C Class Drivers Licence and Plant Machinery Tickets or a HC Licence or above.

The Remuneration: Council will offer a base wage of $1074.50 per week working 38 hours, plus an over award payment of $314.50, bringing the wage to $1389 per week plus applicable allowances. After the successful completion of the probationary period, Council’s 6% performance bonus on the base rate will also apply, bringing the weekly wage to $1453. This is in accordance with the Richmond Shire Council - Certified Agreement 2022.
