Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate plant process equipment and instrumentation to meet quality specs.

• Complete initial and refresher operator trainings successfully.

Plant Operator II – Nouryon

Operate in a chemical plant environment safely, efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Commit to working and operating safely, following all plant and company safety and environmental policies and procedures, and wearing all required personal protective equipment.
• Work in a team environment and function independently.
• Operate plant process equipment and instrumentation to produce products on time, utilizing standard operating procedures and processes that meet quality specifications and standards.
• Successfully pass initial operator training and subsequent refresher trainings.
• Work 8‑ or 12‑hour rotating shifts.
• Under general supervision, perform duties associated with the manufacturing of chemicals and other products to meet quality specifications and customer demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Experience operating industrial equipment in a chemical plant, refinery, or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Comfortable working rotating day/night shifts.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including climbing, working at heights, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Compensation

The hiring salary range for this position is $39.22 per hour, with actual compensation dependent on specific role, qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
