Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Plant Operator II to perform maintenance on facility equipment, including mechanical and utility systems, within our hospital environment in Florida. The role requires several years of maintenance experience and the ability to travel between facilities.

Strong communication, teamwork, and safety practices are essential. The position supports a mission-driven team known for excellence and is located at our Florida campus.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ experience in mechanical/facilities maintenance.
• Two (2) years’ plant operations
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends as needed
• Ability to travel between Moffitt facilities with valid driving record
• OSHA 10 Hour certificate must be obtained within 6 months of employment

• Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, primarily mechanical, utilities, and related systems.
