Job summary

ONEOK is seeking motivated individuals to join our operations team as a Plant Operator, supporting safe, reliable, and efficient natural gas processing facilities.

You will monitor and control plant processes, troubleshoot equipment, conduct routine inspections, and assist maintenance in a hands-on, outdoor role that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This position offers a $1,500 monthly geographic allowance for operating area staff and competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of compressor station, storage field, gathering field, and/or processing plant operations
• Ability to use company software applications on computers
• Understanding of gas/liquid processing fundamentals and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, logs, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Operate loading/unloading rack as specified
• Monitor and control equipment operating conditions
• Start, stop and operate equipment
• Assist with equipment maintenance preparation and permitting
• Identify and report safety and environmental concerns
• Maintain time sheets and maintenance/repair records
