Job summary

Montauk Renewables is seeking a Plant Operator in Cincinnati, OH to support the landfill gas processing plant under the supervision of the Facility Manager. You will perform daily operations, maintenance tasks, and safety checks to ensure reliable production.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on equipment operations, PLC knowledge, and strong communication skills to coordinate with technicians and subcontractors while maintaining compliance with environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ equipment operations experience.
• HS or GED with technical training.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair plant equipment daily.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance tasks; troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and support maintenance reporting.
• Coordinate with landfill technicians and oversee subcontractors as required.
