Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a skilled operator to manage plant process equipment on site in Texas. You will monitor instruments, adjust controls, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will work with cross-functional teams to address process issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum two years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Two-year degree in Process Technology preferred.
• Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines; supervised role.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant process equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adjust control settings to influence speeds, quality and yields.
• Monitor instruments, meters, indicators, and signals for process conformity.
• Control or operate chemical processes using control boards or semi-automatic equipment.
• Record process data and test results.
• Consult with technical staff to resolve safety and efficiency issues.
• Perform quality control tests and sample products.
• Shut down equipment during emergencies as directed.
• Start pumps to wash, vent, and feed materials.
• Review lab reports for process adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
