Job description

Job Title: Gas Plant Operator

A major oil and gas producer is seeking a Gas Plant Operator for their facility in Fairview. The ideal candidate should have:

1. At least 5 years of plant experience
2. Power Engineering and/or PFO courses (considered an asset)

This position involves a 7/7 shift schedule with alternating days and nights, working 12 hours per day. Additional requirements include:

1. Familiarity with plant processes such as compression, refrigeration, Amine, and Sulphur processes, along with safety policies and procedures (asset)
2. A valid driver’s license (no GDL) and a clean driver’s abstract
3. Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
4. H2S Alive ticket
5. Standard First Aid ticket
6. Common Safety Orientation
7. A disciplined work ethic
8. Ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings
