Plant Operator - 2nd Shift (3pm-11.30pm) 4337

We are hiring a Plant Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Sturtevant, WI. The role involves checking in containers, verifying paperwork, moving/unloading waste containers, and operating equipment like forklifts and autoclaves. The ideal candidate enjoys variety in their work and can solve practical problems.

Location: 1340 Grandview Pkwy, Sturtevant, WI 53177

Job Responsibilities:

• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers using our Weighbridge
• Operate the autoclave machine (pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load and operate the Washsmart system (container washing and sanitization)
• Drive a forklift and use hand trucks after training
• Lift up to 55 lbs and push a 200 lbs cart
• Ensure accuracy in paperwork processing
• Stand for extended periods comfortably
• Collaborate effectively with team members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role involving repetitive lifting of 50-75 lbs containers
• Reliable employment history
