JOB SUMMARY

The Plant Operator is responsible for collecting and analyzing samples throughout the Ethanol Process, including Milling, Cook, Fermentation, Evaporation, Distillation/Dehydration, Centrifuges/Dryers and Water Treatment.

SALARY

$19-$22/hr - Commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports to the Board Operator and the Lead Operator any analyses that are not in operating specification so changes to the process can be made.
• Trained to handle and mix various chemicals that are added to the process.
• Learn the process flows throughout the plant and assist other team members in troubleshooting the plant process.
• Trained to operate the plant from the Distributive Control System.
• The Plant Operator will be part of a four-team member crew.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous related plant work experience preferred
• Water treatment and/or rail car experience a plus
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment
• Ability to follow direction and Standard Operating Procedures in a safe manner
• Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend basic English
• High School Diploma or GED
