Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is hiring a plant operator to run and monitor asphalt production in Mississippi. You will operate plant control systems and ensure safety and efficiency throughout the shift environment.

The role requires the ability to work nights and weekends, climb stairs, and travel as needed, with opportunities to maintain equipment and contribute to a productive team. CRH offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings)

Responsibilities

• Willing to work in various climate conditions, hot and cold.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Other duties as assigned per supervisor.
