Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. in the United States seeks a Plant Operator to operate and monitor automated asphalt plant control systems, and to assist in maintenance. This role requires readiness to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed, with safety and efficiency priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor automated asphalt plantcontrol systems to produce asphalt paving materials
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assists in maintenance and repair of plant equipment (use of various hand tools, sledge hammer, cutting torch, welder, pneumatic hammer/drill).
• Must be able to climb stairs/ladders to top of plant.
• Willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Willing to work in various climate conditions, both hot and cold.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

• One (1) year related experience is preferred.

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft operating systems.
