Job summary

Furst-McNess Company in Montezuma, GA is seeking a full-time Plant Operations Crew Member. This role involves safely loading and unloading bulk materials, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and supporting warehouse and production tasks in outdoor and indoor settings.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and willing to work overtime as needed. A high school diploma and experience in manufacturing or warehouse work are preferred; forklift certification is a plus and can be pursued

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, general labor, or related fields preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification with company support.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic math helpful.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload railcars, trucks, and other bulk material shipments.
• Operate pallet jack, forklifts, loaders, skid steers, or other material handling equipment.
• Assist with warehouse, production, and manufacturing operations as needed.
• Perform routine inspections and report equipment maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain accurate weights, measurements, samples, and production records as required.
• Follow company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping activities.
• Support preventive maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep.
