Ash Grove Cement in Tooele, UT seeks a Production Operator to join a team ensuring uninterrupted plant operation and safety in a 24/7 environment. You will inspect and service critical equipment, perform quality testing, and help with material handling and shipping.

The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn, and proficient English communication. Shift varies; pay is $24/hour with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
• Willingness to learn; training provided.
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot plant equipment including rotary dryer and ball mill systems.
• Perform quality control sampling, testing, and routine inspections.
• Maintain preventative maintenance routines and document results.
• Operate mobile equipment and assist with shipping of product.
• Follow safety guidelines and strive to minimize downtime.
• Prepare samples, analyze results, and report findings to supervision.
• Support other departments and adapt to shift work, including weekends.
