Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Production Supervisor to help optimize workforce productivity, coordinate manpower and materials, and manage inventory across distribution centers and in-plant operations. You will help plan weekly production, maintain records, and ensure efficient, safe and compliant operations under our SQR framework.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervision experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and forecasting software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in production supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling production work weekly.
• Maintain records and report results to plant staff.
• Manage finished product and raw material inventory budget.
• Oversee distribution of finished goods to centers.
• Minimize changeovers by long-range planning.
• Ensure replenishment of out-of-stock items.
• Support forecasting of long lead time materials.
• Review plan versus actual labor and material usage.
