Oil-Dri Corporation of America seeks a Plant Operations Manager to lead the Mounds Production plant in Illinois, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operations. The role directs operations, maintenance, quality, safety and continuous improvement to meet production goals while maintaining cost control.

The position requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and ability to manage cross-functional teams across shifts, with emphasis on equipment reliability and safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in plant operations or similar industrial environment.
• Supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of industrial production and maintenance practices.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and CMMS systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily plant operations to meet production, quality, and efficiency objectives.
• Coordinate plant activities with management, maintenance, quality, engineering, sales, and other departments.
• Provide leadership and direction to maintenance personnel and maintenance activities.
• Lead initiatives to improve plant productivity, efficiency, reliability, and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
