Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field; 5+ years in manufacturing.
• Enclosed office space with exposure to warehouse space and production floor; hearing protection may be required.
• Strong communication skills—verbal and written; must effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and exemplify Amcor Behaviors and Values.
• Coordinate manufacturing distribution per corporate policies and procedures.
• Support and maintain ISO and Food Safety Programs.
• Confer with manufacturing vendor sales and technical reps to optimize services.
• Confer with manufacturing sales reps to evaluate and promote improved manufacturing services.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and staff.
• Review production costs and quality; modify production/inventory control to sustain profitability.
• Monitor production to ensure efficiency and high quality products.
• Act as Plant Manager when the Plant Manager is unavailable.
• Direct 5–10 supervisors overseeing 100–300 employees across all departments.
