Job summary

DTE Energy in Ohio is seeking a skilled plant operations supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a mid-sized facility. This role requires independent judgment and adherence to safety and environmental standards, with work largely self-directed and performance measured against goals.

A $10,000 signing bonus is available and you will lead a team, coordinate maintenance, manage budgets, and ensure timely reporting on performance and forecasts, collaborating with management

Qualifications

• 7+ years supervisory or managerial experience in operation and maintenance of plant assets.
• Experience with budgeting operating and maintenance budgets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operation and maintenance activities.
• Primary liaison with the customer on daily operations and production planning.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance with established policies.
• Develop the annual O&M budget and control expenditures.
• Schedule major maintenance and contractor activity to meet production needs.
• Prepare status reports on performance, issues and forecasts.
• Implement planned maintenance programs and document with work orders.
