Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at our Winterset-based facility, overseeing safety, production, quality, and community relations while ensuring the quarry supplies essential materials for Iowa's future.

Based in Winterset, IA, the role requires directing safety programs, managing the workforce, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across MSHA and environmental rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations.
• A valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and training, promoting Guardian Angel culture.
• Responsible for leading the safety, health, environmental programs, guidelines and policies.
• Lead and develop salary and hourly workforce to create teamwork and drive a safe and productive environment.
• Ensure compliance with company, local, state and federal rules and regulations.
• Leads operations to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics.
• Responsible for the planning and scheduling of plant activities to include scheduling, production and training activities.
• Responsible for production forecasting and budgeting with P and L oversight
• Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately.
• Responsible for maintaining quality of all products.
• Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards as established.
• Assist with equipment repairs and housekeeping as needed.
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritizing for production needs
• Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.
