Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastics processing, compounding, or related manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with industrial hygiene, process safety management, incident investigation, and corrective actions is required.

Aufgaben

• Lead and sustain a process safety culture, ensuring hazards are identified, risks are assessed, and controls are maintained to prevent serious incidents.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards, policies, permits, and requirements.
• Monitor site compliance with OSHA and EPA permit requirements.
• Oversee training programs to ensure employees are properly trained and adopt a Safety First culture.
• Direct and coordinate production activities through supervisors and team leads to meet targets.
• Identify safety and quality risks and implement controls to mitigate hazards and prevent incidents.
• Lead root cause analysis for safety and quality issues and ensure corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve uptime, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
• Manage plant performance against safety, quality, productivity, and cost metrics.
• Develop tactical plans aligned with company goals and budgets.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to improve asset reliability and maintenance planning.
