Job summary

Hexion is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the Springfield, Oregon plant, overseeing safety, quality, maintenance, and production performance. You will manage a team, coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance, and ensure adherence to ISO standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• College degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 4+ years in industrial manufacturing with supervisory experience.
• Experience coordinating Operations with Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments.
• Experience with ISO or similar quality management systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% in North America.
• Must be able to wear respirators and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Springfield, OR plant workforce and operations.
• Interface with regulators and government agencies as required.
• Maintain and improve safety, quality, environmental, and maintenance programs.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to optimize flow and reduce downtime.
• Develop operating improvements and manage overtime to meet objectives.
