Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing or operations experience within the chemical, petrochemical, or related process industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of site operations, including production, maintenance, engineering, technology, reliability, and supporting manufacturing functions.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible operations while maintaining the site's license to operate.
• Serve as the primary site representative with regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, safety, transportation, and operating regulations while fostering a proactive compliance culture.
• Lead community engagement and public affairs activities, strengthening partnerships with local stakeholders, emergency response organizations, industry associations, government officials, and community leaders while promoting trust, transparency, and support for the site's long-term success.
• Drive reliable production performance to achieve quality, volume, cost, and customer service objectives.
• Foster a safety-first, high-performance culture where employees are engaged, accountable, empowered, and focused on continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic leadership for workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and performance management.
• Own and continuously improve site performance across key metrics including Safety, Environmental, Quality, Reliability, Cost, Productivity, and Cash Generation.
• Lead the successful restart of critical manufacturing processes that positively impact business performance and growth.
• Identify and execute opportunities to increase production capacity, improve asset utilization, optimize costs, and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Lead plant turnarounds, maintenance strategies, and reliability improvement initiatives to maximize asset performance and operational sustainability.
• Ensure successful execution of capital projects, delivering results safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Partner with business leadership to develop and execute site strategies that support long-term growth, competitiveness, and profitability objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, customers, community stakeholders, and cross-functional business partners.
• Develop and maintain a strong strategic partnership with the site landlord and neighboring operations to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective shared services, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the site landlord and shared-service providers to optimize resources, infrastructure, and operating costs.
• Lead site emergency preparedness and crisis management efforts, ensuring effective response capabilities and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
